Mobile Light Box Frequently Asked Questions (Ordering, Graphics, Shipping)
Mobile Light Box FAQs are here to help you plan, order, and set up your SEG backlit displays with confidence. This page covers the essentials: how to order and request quotes, how to prepare and send your graphics, what to expect for print quality and materials, and how shipping, storage, and spare parts work. You’ll also find quick setup tips for connecting, stacking, and configuring Mobile Light Box frames for trade shows, retail, and events.
Yes, you can build a bridge or arch between compatible Mobile Light Box frames using our Bridge Connectors and the correct frame sizes. This allows you to create dramatic walkthrough entrances or overhead branding. Because safety and stability are critical, we recommend you contact sales@mobilelightbox.us with your frame sizes and desired span so we can confirm the right connectors and any additional support needed.
Yes, in many cases light dirt or stains can be reduced. We recommend using a soft cloth or sponge with mild, non‑bleach detergent and cool water to gently dab the affected area—do not scrub aggressively, wring, or use harsh chemicals. Always let the graphic air‑dry completely before reinstalling it into the frame. If you are unsure whether a stain can be treated without damaging the print, email photos of the area to sales@mobilelightbox.us and we can recommend the best approach.
Yes. You can connect multiple Mobile Light Box frames in a row to create longer straight walls. This is done using Straight Connectors between frames so they align properly and can be powered efficiently. If you tell us your total wall length and which frame sizes you have or are considering, we can recommend the best configuration and connector set—just contact sales@mobilelightbox.us or use our Contact Us form.
Yes. You can create a 90‑degree corner by using the dedicated Inside and Outside Corner Connectors with two frames of the same height. These connectors help you build freestanding L‑shapes or U‑shapes without gaps or light leaks at the corner. For exact parts and a step‑by‑step guide, please refer to our connection quick guides in the Download Center or email sales@mobilelightbox.us and tell us which frames you’re using.
Yes, you can mount a TV or monitor to a Mobile Light Box frame using one of our dedicated Monitor Bracket Kits, which are designed to work safely with specific frame widths. We currently offer: Monitor Bracket Kit 85 cm; Monitor Bracket Kit 100 cm; and a Monitor Bracket Kit for 200 to 600 wide frames. To ensure a safe and stable setup, always match the bracket to the correct frame width and verify that your screen size and weight are within the specified limits. If you share your frame model and TV/monitor size (including weight) with sales@mobilelightbox.us, we will confirm which bracket is right for your setup and how to integrate it into your design.
Yes. For orders that need to be expedited, we offer a 2‑Day Rush option on many products, depending on our current print capacity and shipping cut‑off times. A 2‑Day Rush typically adds 25% of the order total, with a minimum rush fee. If you have a tight deadline, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@mobilelightbox.us or via our Contact Us form and include your event date, shipping ZIP code, and the product you are interested in, so we can confirm what is possible before you order.
Yes. By using either the Mini Foot or Half Foot accessories, you can position the Mobile Light Box much closer to the wall for a cleaner, more space‑saving installation. These feet reduce the distance between the frame and the wall compared to the standard feet. If you’re unsure which option is best for your setup, email sales@mobilelightbox.us and we’ll recommend the right solution.
Yes. We do offer rental frames as an option and also work with trusted partners across the country who can provide local rental solutions. In the Florida region, we can not only rent you the frames but also handle on‑site assembly and disassembly for your event. The easiest way to check availability and pricing is to contact us at sales@mobilelightbox.us or through our Contact Us form and let us know your event date, location, and the size you have in mind.
In most cases, SEG graphics are tailor‑made to fit a specific frame size, so a graphic produced for one size will not fit correctly on a different size frame. Slight changes in width or height can cause the fabric to be too loose or too tight, which affects both appearance and ease of installation. If you are planning a new configuration and want to know whether you can reuse existing graphics or need new ones, please email sales@mobilelightbox.us with your current and desired frame sizes, and we’ll advise you.
Yes. You can stack compatible Mobile Light Box frames to create taller backlit walls when you use the correct stacking connectors and extension cables. You typically need two frames of the same width plus the dedicated stacking hardware to ensure a safe and stable setup. For detailed instructions and videos, please visit our Download Center, or email sales@mobilelightbox.us with your current frame sizes and desired final height and we’ll advise which parts you need.
Yes. Once your order ships, we provide a tracking number so you can follow your shipment all the way to its destination. You will receive tracking details by email, and you can also contact us at sales@mobilelightbox.us if you need any help checking status or coordinating delivery for a specific show date.
Yes. Please get in touch with our sales team and we’ll be happy to help. We offer a range of pre‑designed booth kits in our webshop for common 10×10, 10×20, and 20×20 trade show spaces, which are a great starting point. Yes. Your artwork is valuable to us, and we keep it on file to make reorders fast and easy. In general, we store approved artwork for at least 12 months, so you don’t have to resend files every time you order new graphics or additional frames. If you placed an order more than a year ago, email us at sales@mobilelightbox.us or contact us via our form with your previous order number, and we will check whether your files are still available.
Yes. We offer the SEGO Door Kit, which allows any MLB100 frame to be used as a pivoting door within your Mobile Light Box setup. This is ideal for creating entrances into backlit rooms or storage spaces hidden behind your display. For help integrating a door into your booth design, contact sales@mobilelightbox.us and let us know your layout and frame sizes.
Yes. We can typically ship directly to trade show venues, advanced warehouses, hotels, or event locations, as long as the address and receiving details are provided correctly. Yes. We keep a wide range of spare parts in stock, including connectors, profiles, LED modules, transformers, and feet. On our webshop, each product SKU includes a table of the basic spare parts that fit that specific frame, so you can easily find compatible components. If you are unsure which part you need, email sales@mobilelightbox.us with your order number and, if possible, a photo of the frame or the part you are missing, and we will identify the correct replacement and let you know pricing and lead times.
For custom projects, larger quantities, or booth layouts with multiple frames, you can request a quote directly from our sales team. Please email sales@mobilelightbox.us or use our Contact Us form and share your booth size, event date and location, and any reference drawings or photos you have. We will review your information, propose a suitable Mobile Light Box configuration, and send you a detailed quote with pricing and lead times.
You can send print‑ready files directly by email to sales@mobilelightbox.us. For larger files, please upload them via our WeTransfer upload page: WeTransfer | Send Large Files Fast . Always mention your webshop order number (MLB‑###) in the message when you send your print files, so we can match your graphics to the correct order. If you have any questions about the upload process, feel free to contact us through our Contact Us form.
Backlit SEG graphics are designed to look much more vibrant and premium than standard non‑lit banners because they are illuminated from behind and printed on a dedicated backlit fabric. This gives you more even color, deeper saturation, and better legibility in busy trade show halls and retail environments, helping your message stand out from traditional roll‑ups or vinyl prints. If you would like to see examples, contact us at sales@mobilelightbox.us and we can share reference photos or case studies.
Each Mobile Light Box is packed to withstand transport. Frames and lighting components are placed in protective foam inserts and/or wheeled transport bags, and then shipped inside sturdy cardboard cartons. Fabric graphics are folded or rolled and protected inside polybags to keep them clean and dry. If you have any concerns about shipping or need specific packing instructions (for example, for a show contractor), please email sales@mobilelightbox.us and we’ll be happy to advise.
Our standard light boxes are in stock and can typically ship within 1–2 business days from ordering. In many cases we split‑ship the order: the hardware ships first, and the printed graphics follow shortly after for faster handling. Under normal circumstances, hardware ships via Ground due to weight, and printed graphics ship either Ground or Air, depending on your requested in‑hand date. Production time for the SEG fabric banners is usually 2–3 business days from final artwork approval, with typical shipping transit times of 2–3 business days. If you have a specific event date or urgent deadline, please email sales@mobilelightbox.us or contact us through our form so we can recommend the best schedule and shipping method.
We recommend the following settings for optimal print quality at full‑size (scale 1:1): Resolution: 100–150 dpi at final size; Color mode: CMYK; Rich black: CMYK 85 / 85 / 80 / 100; White elements: make sure “white” is not set to Overprint, or it may disappear in the final print; Fonts: convert all fonts to paths/outlines or fully embed them; Bleed: 10 mm / 0.39 in; Safety distance: 30 mm / 1.18 in from all edges for important text and logos; Cleanup: remove crop marks and extra markings, and avoid alpha channels, masks, color bars, or other non‑print elements before saving your file. You’ll find ready‑made templates for all standard graphic sizes on our Print Instructions page. If you have any questions about your file setup, email us at sales@mobilelightbox.us or contact us through our form and we’ll be happy to review it.
For the frames, we recommend disassembling them and storing the profiles and components in their transport bags or original packaging in a dry, indoor space. For the SEG fabric graphics, fold or roll them carefully and store them clean and dry, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of folded graphics to prevent deep creases. If you need specific storage advice for a particular setup or long‑term storage, contact us at sales@mobilelightbox.us and we’ll be happy to advise.
Yes. If you do not see your exact size listed, please contact our sales team. Our standard Mobile Light Box frames are based on fixed modular sizes, but we often can reach your desired dimensions using extension kits or combinations of frames. When a standard configuration will not work, we can also offer fully bespoke light boxes tailored to your specific size and project requirements. Email us at sales@mobilelightbox.us or send the details via our Contact Us form (ideal width, height, and application) and we’ll propose the best solution.
We print our graphics on our in‑house Super Backlit 190 grs SEG fabric, which is specifically engineered for backlit displays. It delivers vivid colors, deep blacks, and an even glow when illuminated, while remaining durable and wrinkle‑resistant for frequent installations and transport. If you need guidance on whether this is the right material for your application, email us at sales@mobilelightbox.us or contact us through our form.
A Graphic Package includes everything you need to create a finished, ready‑to‑use Mobile Light Box display. It comes with the Mobile Light Box frame hardware, built‑in LED lighting, and the perfectly fitted SEG fabric graphics for your chosen size. You don’t need to order any additional graphics to get a complete, illuminated display – just assemble, plug in, and you’re ready to go. If you are unsure which package is right for you, email us at sales@mobilelightbox.us or use our Contact Us form and we’ll guide you.
When you order just the frame, you receive only the Mobile Light Box hardware (the aluminum frame and lighting), without any printed SEG fabric graphics. When you order a Graphic Package, you get the frame plus the perfectly fitted printed SEG banners, so your display is complete and ready to use. If you prefer, you can order the frame now and add graphics later, either through Mobile Light Box or a local print shop that produces SEG graphics. For help deciding what to choose, contact us at sales@mobilelightbox.us or via our Contact Us page.
We use direct dye‑sublimation printing onto our SEG fabric, meaning the inks are infused directly into the fibers of the material rather than just sitting on the surface. This process produces rich, vibrant colors with smooth gradients and excellent durability, ideal for backlit applications where every detail is visible. It also helps the graphics resist scratching and cracking over time, even with repeated installations.
Please inspect your shipment as soon as it arrives. If you notice any damage to the packaging, missing items, or issues with the frame or graphics, take photos and contact us right away at sales@mobilelightbox.us. Include your order number and a brief description of the problem. We will work with you to assess the situation quickly and arrange replacement parts or graphics as needed so your display is ready in time for your event.
We prefer print‑ready files to be submitted in PDF or TIFF format. However, we can also accept the following file types: InDesign (.indd), Illustrator (.ai), Photoshop (.psd), Encapsulated PostScript (.eps), Portable Document Format (.pdf), and Tagged Image File Format (.tiff). For full details on how to prepare each file type correctly (bleed, resolution, and color settings), please consult our Print Instructions. If you are unsure whether your file format is suitable, feel free to email it to sales@mobilelightbox.us or reach out via our Contact Us form and we’ll advise you before printing.
All print instructions and templates for our standard frame sizes can be found on our Print Specifications page: Print Specifications . There you can download templates with the correct dimensions, bleed, and safety areas that can be opened directly in Adobe Illustrator or other design software. If you are unsure which template to use, email us at sales@mobilelightbox.us or reach out via our Contact Us form and we’ll point you to the right file.
Yes. Our print specifications and recommended resolution (100–150 dpi at full size) are designed to keep graphics looking sharp even on large‑format frames. Because backlit displays are usually viewed from several feet away, this resolution delivers a crisp, professional result without unnecessary file size. If you are unsure whether your file is high enough resolution for a specific large frame, send it to sales@mobilelightbox.us and we’ll gladly check it before printing.
